Integration – the key to register quality

Our register controls are fully integrated into the SIMOTIONcontroller and the Print Standard software package as functionmodules. This means that you won't need any additional controlsystem or an extra control cabinet. As a result, the registercontrol becomes an elementary component of the automated machinesequence control. We offer various sensor-based print mark sensingsolutions with fiber-optic cables for wedge marks - as well as acamera-based solution for point marks. Thanks to the open,customer-specific, adaptable SIMATIC WinCC TIA user interface, theregister control can also be integrated into the machine operatingcontrol and the automated sequence control.

SIMOTION TRC1000 register control	SIMOTION TRC1000 registercontrol The powerful entry-level solution is predominantly recommended forconverting applications, such as coating and laminating. Itoperates with a high-quality monochrome sensor, which automaticallydetects all of the usual wedge and block marks and measures up totwo marks with respect to one another. The sensor communicates withthe register control, implemented in SIMOTION, viaPROFINET IO IRT.
SIMOTION TRC3000 register control	SIMOTION TRC3000 registercontrol With this solution, a high-performance RGB sensor detects thestandard colors, but can also sense challenging special colors andfinishes that are printed on materials that either have a weakcontrast or are reflective. This intelligent sensor automaticallymeasures up to 20 print marks, and is directly connected to theSIMOTION controller of the printing unit viaPROFINET IO IRT.

The result is an especially highmeasuring and repeat accuracy. Live camera images facilitate setupand monitoring of materials and print marks.
